Accessibility Statement
Skyline Metal Buildings wants everyone to be able to learn about our buildings and request a quote, including people who use screen readers, keyboards or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have built in
- A "skip to content" link and proper page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) so screen-reader users can move around quickly
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields
- Descriptive alternative text on photos and logos, and labels on every form field
- Text and background colors checked for readable contrast
- Background motion (parallax photos) is turned off for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion
- Pages that work on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without sideways scrolling, plus a one-tap call button on phones
Known limitations
The online 3D building designer is provided by Eagle Carports on its own website and we cannot control its accessibility. If you have trouble using it, call us and we will design your building with you over the phone.
